Also, actual brother named his kid "Tobin." WTF is that?

Friends at work named their kid "Anden." Whaaat?

I have a few friends with kids and the "look at me" factor is wearing thin. It's like the "My child is an honor role student" X100.

I get you're proud of your kids. Showing photos of you every time you go for a walk followed by messages "did you see how cute___ was?" is annoying.

I would post it, but honestly it's so stupid and "unique" that I feel like the parent would google their baby's name (because of course they would) and this post would come up. Most people who know me reasonably well in real life would probably be able to identify me if they saw my posts and username, and I'd rather avoid an awkward confrontation about how dumb their baby's name is.

I've lost count of how many random people I went to high school with that I've un-followed on facebook because all they ever post about anymore is their damn kids. I'm still friends with them but I don't get bombarded with all the kiddie bullshit. Every once in a while I'll check out my un-followed people to see if they've posted anything interesting lately, and without fail, they haven't.
